Where do you get your trans/driveline parts?
All our M3P transmission and driveline parts are all designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA. We have invested heavily in our driveline offering.
Who does your tuning?
All of our calibrations are written and developed in house and not outsourced. Who's our calibrator? Owner/engineer Safa takes that role. He has been tuning for 15 years and is currently the only person in the world to unlock full control of the McLaren TCU. Safa's expertise does not stop there, he also develops calibrations for the TCU and CPC controller for Mercedes platforms, ECU and TCU tuning for many of today's popular high performance European cars.
HOW LONG DOES AN ENGINE BUILD TAKE?
We stock several of our engine and M3P driveline parts. This brings our lead time on all our McLaren builds to 12-16 weeks which could be subject to change upon volume increase (which would be disclosed at the time of build slot RSVP).
Can I buy a TCU tune for my mclaren?
The McLaren TCU tuning solution is exclusively available for our client builds only. The TCU is a key component to achieving the full power potential in our powertrain programs.
Do you warranty your builds? If so how long is the warranty?
The answer is YES! We provide a 2 year/24k mile powertrain limited warranty with all our builds. We are very confident and take pride in our product that we top it off with a warranty that no McLaren tuner has ever provided.
