A common question we get asked from customers and/or our dealers is, can we tune a McLaren TCU and why is it important? The answer is yes.  After years of development we have successfully unlocked the McLaren TCU and we are the only tuner on the planet so far. TCU tuning is such an important component in our build program. Some platforms, such as the  4.0 platform (720s & GT), the turbocharger's wastegate control tables are in the TCU. To fully control load demand we have to be able to access these tables within the TCU. The importance for TCU tuning doesn't stop at wastegate control, it is needed when the clutches are upgraded to properly tune in clamping pressures, line pressures, holding pressures, along with a variety of other related tables. Not a lot of people realize that the TCU also has torque limiters that will hold back the ECU from making max target power. Without increasing the torque limit threshold in the TCU calibration then the tuner is limited from unlocking the full potential of the machine. One of the most impressive features of our TCU tuning is our ability to code in new motorsport features such as "BURNOUT MODE". This feature is ideal for drag strip racing where warming up the tire is necessary for maximum grip for launching.

All of our builds come paired with our M2R transmission package equipped with our own M3P manufactured driveline upgrades capable of handling 2,000Nm of torque. The list includes:
