In-House Powertrain Calibration
McLaren's 765LT represents the ultimate Longtail treatment on the M840T platform, 755 HP and 590 ft-lbs from a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, with titanium exhaust, lightweight forged wheels, reduced sound deadening, and aggressive aerodynamics. The 2021 model is a car engineered from the factory for track performance, and our ECU calibration takes that philosophy to its logical conclusion.
Stage 1 unlocks +125 HP and +115 TQ for a total of approximately 880 HP and 705 ft-lbs. Our calibration raises boost pressure targets, advances ignition timing at key RPM points, and optimizes the fuel injection timing for 93 octane. The 765LT's titanium exhaust and improved airflow mean the engine responds exceptionally well to calibration changes, gains are felt immediately in quicker turbo spool, harder mid-range acceleration, and a more relentless top-end pull. Stage 2 reaches 920 HP and 750 TQ. With ECU map switching, you can run stock calibration for transport days and our performance map for track sessions. Antilag is available for maximum launch performance. All calibrations developed in-house by Mega 3 Performance.
