In-House Powertrain Calibration
As the final model year before the 720S replaced the Super Series, the 2017 650S stands as the most refined version of this generation. The M838T 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 produces 641 HP / 650 PS / 478 kW and 500 lb-ft / 678 Nm with the polish of four full production years behind it. It's also the best value proposition in the lineup for tuning, mature hardware, sorted electronics, and strong aftermarket support.
Stage 1 delivers up to 80 HP / 81 PS / 60 kW and 80 lb-ft / 108 Nm of additional output, reaching approximately 721 HP / 731 PS / 538 kW and 580 lb-ft / 786 Nm.
Stage 2 pushes up to 105 HP / 106 PS / 78 kW and 100 lb-ft / 136 Nm over stock for a total of roughly 746 HP / 756 PS / 556 kW and 600 lb-ft / 813 Nm. Both stages are pure software, no hardware changes required, and the gains come through optimizing the conservative factory calibration.
All calibrations are developed for 91 octane and 93 octane fuel. Custom calibrations are available for 100 octane or other race fuels. Map switching and antilag are available as optional add-ons.
