In-House Powertrain Calibration
Into its second year, the 2016 570S continued to prove the Sport Series as a formidable contender in the segment. The M838TE 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 delivers 562 HP / 570 PS / 419 kW and 443 lb-ft / 601 Nm with plenty of room to grow, this engine makes significantly more power in Super Series applications using the same basic architecture.
Stage 1 adds up to 80 HP / 81 PS / 60 kW and 80 lb-ft / 108 Nm, bringing output to approximately 642 HP / 651 PS / 479 kW and 523 lb-ft / 709 Nm.
Stage 2 pushes up to 105 HP / 106 PS / 78 kW and 100 lb-ft / 136 Nm over stock for a total of roughly 667 HP / 676 PS / 497 kW and 543 lb-ft / 736 Nm. Both stages require no hardware modifications, the gains come purely from recalibrating the factory-conservative engine management software.
All calibrations are developed for 91 octane and 93 octane fuel. Custom calibrations are available for 100 octane or other race fuels. Add-ons include ECU map switching for daily flexibility and antilag for track use.
