Applying Stage 1 produces gains of up to 58 HP / 59 PS and 80 lb-ft / 108 Nm, with projected output at 474 HP / 480 PS and 449 lb-ft / 608 Nm.
Applying Stage 2 produces gains of up to 72 HP / 73 PS and 105 lb-ft / 142 Nm, with projected output at 488 HP / 494 PS and 474 lb-ft / 642 Nm.
ECU Unlock
An ECU unlock is the process of removing the manufacturer's read/write protection on a vehicle's engine control unit, giving tuners access to the internal calibration data using flash tools. This restores the ability to read the original calibration, modify maps and parameters, and write custom software back to the unit, forming the foundation that other services, like map switching or custom calibration, are built on top of.
AMG 8SPD DCT TCU Calibration
Our AMG TCU Calibration Upgrade recalibrates transmission torque intervention, shift behavior, and control parameters so the gearbox can keep up with an upgraded ECU's increased power and torque, delivering faster, more decisive gear changes, stronger gear holding under acceleration, and quicker downshifts while retaining smooth, refined drivability during normal driving. Pairing the TCU with the ECU calibration is important because factory transmission strategies will otherwise intervene and limit delivery of the added torque, with both systems properly balanced, the engine and transmission work together for stronger acceleration and more consistent performance. CPC Calibration
Our AMG CPC Calibration Upgrade recalibrates the Central Powertrain Controller's torque monitoring so it properly supports increased engine output instead of capping it at factory levels, removing unnecessary torque intervention for smoother, more consistent power delivery. Since the ECU, CPC, and TCU all work from a shared torque model, tuning the ECU alone isn't enough, if the CPC and TCU are still operating on factory torque targets, they'll continue limiting output regardless of what the ECU allows.
